A few people have reported that they see a white screen when they open a page in the Universalis app on a device made by Xiaomi.

This happens when you have set Universalis to display black text on a white background, and have set your device to “dark mode” (or “night mode”). In that mode, a Xiaomi device displays black text as white text, so the Universalis page ends up having white text on a white background.

In that case:

• EITHER set your device not to use “dark mode”.
• OR set Universalis to display white text on a dark background. You do this by using the Fonts button in the toolbar, and you will find an instructional video here.
